The vertical type 530/630 ton knuckle joint press’ extrusion power is supplied by a motor and gravity, giving it a higher production speed. The vertical arrangement design ensures a small footprint, making this equipment ideal for small factories.
This knuckle joint press utilizes a multi-connecting rod knuckle joint mechanical motion mechanism, offering different extrusion strokes at 50 and 25mm, and different nominal force distances of 38 and 16mm. This makes it adaptable to workpieces in a variety of widths, and extrusion is completed in a single process, which reduces the need for subsequent cutting processes.
When the machine is refueled, the extruding force gradually increases once the die comes into contact with the workpiece (commonly known as the force increasing press). There is a .035 second wait time when the die arrives at the lower point to ensure the plastic deformation of the metal blank during the cold forging process. This helps reduce deformation resistance in discharging extruded products and ensures the grain structure is more compact.Specifications
